We played plenty of ball tapping games in high school. In my group of friends, if you weren’t covering up, you were fair game. No fists though. More like a slap with the back of your hand. The goal wasn’t to hit them as hard as you could. It was more like when you try and towel-whip someone, but with your hand. We also played “the circle game”, where if someone was able to get you to look at a circle they made with their fingers, they got a free punch on the arm.

So I just listened to Episode 102, and realized Jonathan mentioned the exact game I was talking about….
