First off people, why isn’t this on the Weck’s Wiki thread? Why do you disrespect the Weck by creating copycat threads?
Second, some of you seem to just be blowing yourselves rather than trying to stump the Weck. We get it, you got a shout out on the show, we’ve heard all the episodes, we know, you are super duper cool.
I’ve got one. What episode did J-Dog call the old forum whack? What did he say Seth might as well be doing instead of logging in to the old forum? Who’s names did J-Dog mention in association with the whackness?

i looked through the wiki, but i can’t find it…

there’s a story that Jah tells about having some kind of dream or something. i think he’s at his grandmas and see a ghost or gets paralyzed or something??? i can’t find it.

you talking about from the other day when he told the story about falling asleep while driving and seeing an alligator cross the road?

no, this is from a past episode. i searched “dream” “nightmare” “ghost” “alien” “sleep” and got nothing :(

i remember him telling the story and seth losing his mind about it saying he would freak out if that happened or something.

and it’s not the alien/sedona/psychiatrist story either.

anyone know that episode? still can’t find it…..

What episode is this? They go over a list of top excuses given to ohio (?) state troopers to get out of speeding tickets.

I believe this is Episode 64. The police comments are at 41:37.

I’m not sure about the grandma thing though. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of grandmas and airports is the lady in Episode 44 who put her 1-month-old grandson in a plastic x-ray bin at LAX.

Other than that, I’m sorry guys, it looks like I’m in pretty bad books here with your other queries. All I can say is, the more context, the better chance I have at nailing it down (like this example with the excuses given to state troopers).

it’s cool man. i’m sure i’ll start my now annual escapade of listening to every episode from #1 sometime soon. when i find it, i’ll post it here.

I found it, it’s episode 123 around minute 46.

I’m only 92% sure this is in UYD:

A story about some band that released some album/record that needed to be purchased by multiple parties and they needed to come together and play them simultaneously to get the desired music, I guess because one would only have the drum track, and another the guitar, another the vocals, and so on. The band was disappointed that music was becoming less of a social activity. I’m pretty sure Jah was talking about this on an episode but I MAY have heard it somewhere else.

I was not but your post was helpful enough that with wikipedia and a few minutes I was able to find that Zaireeka is the album I was thinking about and trying to tell my friend about, so ty.

i know it has to be after episode 138 because that’s when they first talk about Quantum of Solace, but i’m looking for the episode where seth is like “so i finally saw quantum of solace…he gets *mad laid!!!*” and then they talk about how he goes into a casino and they’re like “are you gonna play mr bond?” and he goes “fugheddaboutit!!!!!”

i finally found this. it’s not in the wiki, but it’s episode 78 at about 52:10 where he talks about an old woman visiting him and sleep paralysis and stuff.
