Does anyone know a place where I can download the show, but not stream? My work blocks streaming sites, and most podcast sites. I’m really sad because I can’t seem to get the latest eps when I want them.
A good example is podcastblaster.com—this is one of the only sites my work does not block. Up until about episode 173, I was able to right-click and “save target as” to download the episode. After that one, there is only one link per ep, and it is blocked.
I know I’m super lame, but I don’t have internet at home (or TV, Jah!). My job is so asinine that I need my UYD to keep my sanity!

You could try downloading it directly from the RSS feed. There you can just save the files if you wanted or play it from your browser.

Thanks for the tip, but that isn’t working either. My work blocks podcast sites, but not eBay—can you believe it?!?

I can see the RSS site, but when I click to play or click to download, I get the blockpage error.

Any other ideas?

Um, not trying to be a dick but how about not downloading at work?

one place i worked some of the guys were using proxy servers to bypass their company’s big brother software. it was some advanced setting in internet explorer. not sure if it’s there anymore. then you’d have to find a proxy server ip.

but that’s sneaky and you shouldn’t do it.

I’m guessing work will still block the download. Have you tried podcast alley?
