Hey all, I started listening to UYD about two months ago and have made it about 1/3 of the way through in backwards chronological order. There are a lot of memes, in-jokes, and cultural references that I don’t get yet and ordinarily I’d just struggle through until I made my way, but what the hell is up with Seth’s VU-maxing Italian noise that he makes like every fucking episode:

“Bo!”

It’s not even always when he’s ragging on Italians or common American perceptions of Eye-ties.

“Bo!”

Nothing other than it’s funny.

The first time I have it documented is in Ep. 118 at about the 44:30 mark. Just happened out of nowhere. Snowballed from there I believe. It got out of control in Ep. 141 at about 28:40 (first came up in Ep. 138 @ 30:47), when they talk about James Bond using “fuggetaboutit!” as his catchphrase.

Definitely be nice to the Noobs. I am one as well. After all, where would Keith Richards be if his body attacked his new organs each time he added a new one or had a new batch of blood pumped in for that matter??

And, yeah, if you are listening to them in reverse you are likely to find that you’ll quickly listen to them in forward and things will make slightly more sense.
