first post ever!

was wondering. whilst listening to the episode where seths mother takes over from johnathan, whether there are many instances where some background noise can be heard during the recording of the show? Obviously this isn’t what we SHOULD be listening for, but would be interesting whether there is anything unusual/usual on tape which isn’t part of the show…...

I just figured that it was J-Dog in the background. It sounded like his voice/laugh.

I remember that but only in the beginning, he laughs at the Rastafani part.

Edit - I take it back; he’s definitely there while it was recorded. He laughs and talks to Seth during the sext part around 5:10.

What do you do when you find a tick on your body? You pull it off, go outside, and eat it- in front of all the other ticks.

Are there any background noises where you peeps are?

Here’s what I’m hearing:

Constant chatter of people who won’t take the time to check out a meeting room but would rather stand right by by desk and hash out HEAVY DEEDS.

Some 900 pound gorilla walking to and from the bathroom 18 times per day, shaking everything around me, including a large Ricoh copier.

Guys talking about how sports their sports are. Who’s sporting harder and who’s sports are harder?

Some other 900 pound gorilla stirring what looks like a gallon of Crystal Lite with ice cubes as he walks by with the footfalls of a thousand elephants.

.. other stuff that is too high level of security that I can’t even say

Background noise? Where do I begin?

A patient is standing at my desk, as I type this, going through all the questions on our health form.  So far?  ‘email? No one’s ever heard of it, so why should I give it? What’s that medication I take for my heart? Begins with a ‘t’ Hmmmm I DID have a history of drug abuse, but I’ve been clean since 1989. No employer, that’s a good one. Hahahaha I’m sort of retired, but I’m broke.’

SHUT UP, DICK.

Music (sirius gold), a drill, some drawers being closed and opened, a sterilizer beeping.

I’d like to start by respecanizing the Ricoh copiers! I can hear one curning away right now. How about all the women in the office who are like, “it’s so cold in here!”. I’m sorry—is 74 degrees somehow uncomfortable for you freaks? How come I’m NEVER cold?!?
Look, bitch, it’s 90 effing degrees outside with 80% humidity, and it’s AUGUST—you don’t need to turn the heat on! Back away from the thermostat! Are you cool?
Other than complaints about the AC set at 74 degrees being too cold, I’ve got personal conversation to my left, coworker who talks to herself ahead of me, Ricoh copier a few feet past her, and obnoxious supervisors who stand around and chit chat all day across the room (but can still hear every word they say somehow).
So my plan: UYD marathon today to drown out all the crap.

Rockwell Table saw ripping down Plywood, boring machine screaming drilling holes for hinges, shop dog barking at the ups man dropping off cabinet doors, Grateful Dead playing on shop speakers, and nail guns going off.

but none of it bothers me.

Are we talking about background noises on the show or in our lives?

Mine is usually my two year old laughing or crying.

I’ve heard some sirens and traffic in the back of my UYD eps.

now connecting you to St.Louie!
