i think that i’ve settled on suggesting the most recent ep. i mean, really, they are on point every single week and listening to the latest ep is going to mean everything they are talking about is current.

This is definitely the best approach.

I don’t know about you guys, but for me I wasn’t even hooked after my first episode.  I listened to about 3 and was unsure and by the time I had listened to like maybe 7 I decided it was definitely dope and I was gonna listen to all of em.

Also different stories and anecdotes will resonate as funny or interesting more with different people, so just because I really like episodes 24 and 203 doesn’t mean if I want someone to like the show I’ll tell them to listen to them.

When you tell someone that an episode or 2 out of the huge catalogue of UYD is the best, if they don’t love the episodes you have em listen to immediately, what hope is there for them to keep listening?

Most of the people I introduce UYD to are pretty new to podcasts at all, so I always use the videos. The earlier episodes were a bit more structured as far as segments and differ from the post 200 episodes. Once the balls rolling, they’ll eventually want to go back to ep. 1 on their own.

High Net Worth Listener.
