I saw this, in person, on a tree in my yard a while back and someone was nice enough to send me a video of it. The video is almost as creepy and alien as in real life. I gotta put this on Panic Attack thread too, because it’s crazy fascinating, but also pretty disgusting and panic inducing.

This is Ayumu, he’s an 11-year-old chimpanzee who lives and trains at Kyoto University’s Primate Research Institute. In his time there, Ayumu has come to excel at an incredibly difficult — albeit very straightforward — memorization game. If you challenge him to this game, you will lose.

Allow me to be perfectly clear: there is absolutely zero chance of you besting Ayumu; he will positively destroy you, and he will do it with ease

As someone who has watched almost nothing except 10 and a half seasons straight on King of the Hill, I don’t understand but I love it.
