So, when I went to buy those sweet sweet tics—which I did—I noticed that there was a “seat” field in the ticket information. Seeing as the show is general admission I assume the “seat” number corresponds to the number of tickets sold. Today they’re up to 233. Not bad for only being on sale for a week.

Let’s get the post-show drinkin’ pit discussion going again. Brouwer’s is awesome but a ways from the U, and I need to book myself a hotel within stumbling distance. Any more locals with an opinion?

Good call, would like not to have to drive back to spokane after, and then montana. If you find a good spot to stay, lemme know and I’ll do the same. Maybe group rates? I have AAA if that helps. Heh.

This is where I’ll stay if we end up at Brouwer’s in Fremont. I’ve stayed there before, nothing fancy but it’s clean and affordable. There’s a strip of scuzzy motels along Aurora and locals will tell you not to stay in them, but this one’s been rehabilitated. It’s not exactly stumbling distance from watering holes in the U, but the price difference between it and closer hotels is probably more than cab fare so I may stay there anyway.

Another advantage to staying a short walk from Fremont is this hippie-ass place, which makes the most amazing breakfasts ever and features pasty white people in sarongs.

Oh man, looks like a blast. It is unfortunately quite a ways from the venue…an hour’s walk at least, though maybe 10-15 in a cab. We should get everyone some road beers and all walk there if it’s nice out. Then we can all get labelled a gang, just like the Juggalos. I don’t want to think about what has to happen to my boner to make the Y in our gang sign.

Just heard back from them.

“The current rate for a standard queen room is is $65.00 per night. We do have rooms for Jan 13, 2012.”

If I stay in Seattle over the weekend I’ll probably stay there. If I head home on Saturday…I may stay at that swank-lookin’ joint too, dang.

Anyone hear that Maron said that the Neptune is like 800 seats? I hope it fills, that would be huge bucks for the boys and make for an incredible atmosphere.

Another affordable option or two near the U.
