I don’t know why I check to see if the show is uploaded on sundays anymore. jonathan is pretty much late all the time. not complaining, just sayin

so just deal with it and move on, adjust accordingly and assimilate…  by Wed know the newest show is available. that’s all you need to know.  and you are complainin and we’ve done heard enough of that.  of course, just sayin.

its really not that big a deal.

It’s an Internet Rule, doesn’t everybody know that? You can say whatever as long as whomever replies keeps their comments decent.

nah, i disagree with that… the boundaries between this “internet world” and what the rest of us refer to as real life are quickly dissolving, you can’t just say anything on the internet and not expect your words to have power… that’s like saying no matter what you write no matter where you write, you shouldn’t be offended cause its written, not spoken..  doesn’t apply.

anyway, didnt intend (well sorta did jokingly) to come off sounding like a jerk, but ive seen this “comment” many times before..  people complaining cause the newest download isn’t available monday morning—like seriously…  are you kidding? give it a rest.

people have to understand that this show is just jonathan and seth. they do everything. there are no mix-masters that jonathan hands the raw show off to that edit and upload it. he does it all. so if he is sick or MIA, the show takes longer to go up. if he is out of town or super busy, the show takes longer to go up. knowing that, i think its incredible that every week for 3 years now this show gets made, produced and given to the masses—for free. if you think you can do a better job i invite you to start your own podcast, do everything yourself and see how long it takes before things start to slip. i guarantee life will get in the way.

furthermore, its fucking free. get your minds right. do you also go down to the soup kitchen and complain because youre getting chicken noodle again? “Ugh… we never have anything different! They need to serve us some risotto one of these times!”

ps—is anyone else having problems downloading the show? i am hearing that past episodes are becoming unavailable on both itunes and podcast alley. and ep155 appears to be up in itunes, but wont dl for me. let me know over in this thread:

Is the show really late if I’ve been getting it late mondays/tuesday mornings for a couple of months? Doesnt that just mean its the new “delivery date” by now?

NO NO NO AGENT! You’re supposed to invite them to take over the mixing and post production to help take the load off of Jah! Your idea won’t get things moving any faster.

Personally, I think it’s better if we don’t know what day and time the show goes up. Who the fuck wants the monotony of the show going up every week at the same time. This makes it much more organic and human. On top of that, Jah’s apologies when things are up late always make me soft in the middle so I forgive instantly.

Secondly, you’re right (dude that started the thread) there does seem to be an element of stoner/slackerness behind it (whether or not that is the case) and so it’s great that he is just reinforcing that.  No?

Ok, that last part made no sense. I expect no one to trust that I’m sober.

I like the show. I would wait until Friday and not complain. It’s better than the nerdy History podcasts I listen to, they take up to two months sometimes.

I’m still clenching my cheeks together to hold that shit in BTW.
