i stayed in Miami. I shouldn’t have as it has left me forced to buy another ticket on jetblue however that doesn’t leave until tomorrow and I have already checked out of the hotel and can’t actually afford to check back in anyway. I sort of thought I would just miss my flight and then like standby the next day but that didn’t work out so hot for me. It also started to rain earlier which doesn’t bode too well for me either. Oh and I am carrying around a huge midi controller keyboard with no case and it has already taken what may prove to be a deathly blow in the taxi ride to the airport. Mind you all the people I was with Daedelus, Amir, Dimitri etc all made their flight and even the rest of the crew who flaked made arrangements and caught their flights today. I decided to press my luck and see if I couldn’t finagle my way into a ticket for cheaper or go on standby. Ok ok ok I stayed (kinda) because of this fucking girl…(s)...(sort of).  Hate the player hate and the game. I’m currently in Fort Lauderdale airport a 60 dollar cab ride from Miami however there is free wifi in the terminal. Small mercies small mercies.

I guess even the aura of Florida has the tendency to fuck people over?  Surely something must open up and a ticket will become available.  Until then, keep on spitting game.

If some rad dude kinda, sort of stayed thousands of miles away from home for me (and my sister) I’d damn well make sure he had a place to stay and would do what I could to help get him home.  I’m just sayin’.  But MEM is classy and considerate, we all know this.

Yeah, half way through reading the story I was thinking there had to be a lady involved.

Nothing worse than leaving town before getting all your lady business done.  The penis is running the show at that point, logic is out the window.

That’s exactly what I assumed when his Facebook status was something like, “I missed my flight, sort of on purpose.”  I immediately thought a lady or ladies had something to do with it.  I don’t know, though - missing a flight for a lady seems very “chick flick” to me.  The craziness that is Florida seems to have worked it’s way into Jonathan’s brain like some sort of parasite.

I think that would be true if he had stayed for some cheesy, romantic reason. I think it’s safe to say that he didn’t stay so he could profess his undying love for her. He probably stuck around so he could bone down super hard and then be outtie.

I hope Jah got a std in Florida, one he didn’t already have, for making me go this long without a show.

This is likely true.  But I wouldn’t put it past J-Dog to stay for a cheesy/romantic reason.  He’s a very sensitive dude, you know…writes poetry, drinks complicated coffee beverages, and is prone to being grifted.
